Plastic or zinc rainwater gutters

Another important component of your new timber house is the roof drainage. It protects your house from moisture damage, as otherwise the run-off rainwater would cause the outer wall to become damp. It is also possible to collect the rainwater in a cistern or rain barrel and use it as service water in the garden. Depending on the size of the house or the roof covering installed, we offer plastic or zinc rainwater gutters for ground-level houses.

Which channel for what?
For a smaller garden or weekend house with bitumen shingles, the plastic gutter is the common standard and offers a reasonable price-performance ratio; for large houses with a metal roof with a tiled look, the zinc gutter is more likely to be used, as it simply fits the roof better visually.
